Montreal, October 29th 2008 – ESKA’s aluminum water bottles turned some heads during Montreal Fashion Week (MFW), held October 14-17 at Marché Bonsecours. As an official partner of MFW 2008, ESKA charged Massy-Forget Public Relations with the task of reaching people seeking new, slick, eco-friendly products. This event was also a great opportunity to tap into the blogger community, always at the forefront of the city’s latest trends.
To hand out the 10,000 ESKA aluminum water bottles during the event, Massy-Forget Public Relations sent two hostesses proudly wearing dresses bearing ESKA’s colors. The dresses were composed of 100% recyclable aluminum pieces made of 65% recycled materials! To create these “eco haute-couture” works of art, the firm called upon the expertise of Charlene Chan, a young Montreal designer.
“We saw a golden opportunity to create a buzz around ESKA’s aluminum water bottle. These new “eco-chic” bottles are currently offered only in select bars and restaurants across Quebec, so for us MFW was a unique opportunity to reach an audience that is particularly receptive to this kind of product,” explains Annie Langlois, Vice President, Health and Consumer Goods, at Massy-Forget Public Relations.
The brand new 300 ml aluminum bottles are available in two versions: carbonated, in a silver bottle, and non-carbonated, in a blue bottle. ESKA natural spring water is drawn from a protected source located in Saint-Mathieu-d’Harricana, Abitibi.
